Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office Mom Luang Panadda Diskul has revealed that the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has approved the production of two documentaries and two movies about royal activities conducted by Her Majesty the Queen to be aired in the event of her birthday anniversary.
The two movies, which portray royal activities in the northern and southern parts of Thailand, will be screened on August 5th, at the Siampawalai Royal Grand Theatre of the Siam Paragon Shopping Center in Bangkok. All other theatres nationwide have also been requested to show the film on the date.
Apart from the film project, a Buddha image will be cast to commemorate Her Majesty’s 7th cycle anniversary on August 12th. The public are invited to donate for the project.
Other activities for this year include a grand exhibition in honor of HM the Queen at Amporn Gardens and the Royal Plaza, a light-and-sound show, and a candle-light ceremony to wish Her Majesty a happy birthday presided over by NCPO Head, General Prayuth Chan-o-cha.
The Bureau of the Royal Household will arrange books for well-wishers to sign on the August 12th.
